Clinical Opportunities

COVID Care Force (CCF) is looking for flexible volunteers with a servant-heart to serve in populations overwhelmed with COVID-19. To qualify, you must have an active license. CCF will arrange and cover all travel to and from location, accommodations, and onsite transportation. Please see below for more information about the sites we are currently serving. Operation Vaccinate America

Operation Vaccinate American is COVID Care Force's latest program, aimed at providing volunteers to sites that need assistance in distributing COVID vaccines. We are currently compiling a list of names of those who are interested in serving with COVID Care Force. Navajo Nation - Gallup, New Mexico

Available Positions: MD/DO, PA, NP (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine/Generalist preferred but not required)

Deployment Length: Minimum of two-weeks unpaid, with the option to extend.

Volunteers will be working at a COVID-19 isolation site to monitor COVID-positive patients. This will be adult care with 25-30% of patients on O2. Other chronic conditions for patients will need to be managed during their isolation period as well.

Chickasaw Nation - Ada, Oklahoma

Available Positions: Nurses (NP*, RN, LPN/LVN)

Deployment Length: 1) a minimum of two-weeks, with the option to extend; or 2) a minimum of one month or longer. Volunteers who choose the month or longer option may be eligible for a monthly stipend.

Volunteers will be assisting with COVID-19 swabbing/testing and COVID-19 vaccine distribution and other hospital staffing shortages as needed.

Mexico - Tijuana

Available Positions: MD/DO, PA, Nurses (NP*, RN, LPN/LVN), Paramedics, EMTs

Deployment Length: 1) a minimum of two to three weeks, with the option to extend.

Volunteers will assist the Missionaries of Charity Sisters treating the homeless population and chronically ill. Duties will consist of primarily nursing level tasks, ie wound care, feedings, daily maintenance.

Non-Clinical Opportunities

St. Joseph Homeless Shelter

Be a warrior in the battle against COVID-19 and other challenges facing the homeless population!

We have a non-clinical opportunity with the Missionaries of Charity, the congregation founded by Mother Teresa, to assist with their men's shelter and soup kitchen in Gallup, New Mexico. We need servant-minded volunteers and are looking for 2 men or a married couple for 2-week rotations. It will consist of a variety of duties, including but not limited to, screening each man for eligibility to enter the shelter, supporting the Sisters to keep order, helping set up tables for dinner, staying overnight to assist with any needs which may arise.

Shifts are late afternoon through breakfast, Friday-Thursday morning. The rest of the time is yours!

COVID Care Force will provide travel to and from Gallup, NM, onsite transportation, and a small food allowance. You will also be able to eat dinner and breakfast the Sisters prepare. Accommodations consist of separate living quarters for volunteers only, at shelter.
