COVID Care Force mobilizes volunteer medical professionals to areas with critical staffing shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Whatever it takes” is the heartbeat of every courageous healthcare volunteer and generous donor who supported COVID Care Force in making an impact in the fight against COVID-19. It continues to be the heartbeat as we evolve into Global Care Force.
When the coronavirus was first detected, we knew this would be a major pandemic. It became an all-hands-on-deck moment!
Immediately, the vision for COVID Care Force was formed and we founded a new nonprofit organization to mobilize medical professionals to underserved COVID hotspots.
From New York City to San Francisco, from the Indian reservations of Montana to the Navajos of Arizona and throughout Mexico, COVID Care Force made an impact in communities where we deployed and in the lives of patients we touched. In this first year, volunteers and donors responded by doing “whatever it takes.”
- Medical professionals followed their hearts and registered to volunteer with COVID Care Force to go wherever the needs were greatest. They treated patients, administered COVID-19 tests, performed contract tracing, helped communities reduce the spread of the virus, and finally, gave vaccinations.
- Donors made generous gifts to COVID Care Force to get volunteers and supplies to sites where they were most needed.
Your generosity and support made a world of difference in the COVID-19 battle. We hope you will continue to show your support and belief in our mission as we evolve into Global Care Force!

COVID Care Force moves forward as Global Care Force to be a bridge in providing medical care to underserved communities. Our volunteers want to serve. They have witnessed firsthand the need that is still there.
The pandemic put a strain on the world’s healthcare system and highlighted it’s fractures and inequities. COVID-19 continues to have an impact around the world. However, a disproportionate amount of communities struggled to provide adequate care before the pandemic hit.
Global Care Force will continue the mission started by COVID Care Force by:
• Adapt to evolving healthcare needs, with a special focus on communities experiencing critical staffing shortages.
• Seek out intentional and collaborative partnerships to reinforce local organizations providing heath care services.
• Engage donors and partners to leverage collective strengths to improve healthcare for populations in the greatest need.
This past year showed us how vulnerable our world is and how an invisible but powerful virus threatened our existence. It made us aware that many of our hospitals and communities need help every day, and not just during a crisis. Global Care Force will provide that help.
We invite you to continue this journey with us as we move forward as Global Care Force. We can only do this with your continued generosity and support. You DO make a difference in the lives of others!
"Until COVID-19 is defeated, we are not done. COVID Care Force will keep sending volunteers to underserved communities. Whatever it takes."
